Lewandowski Already Sounds Like A Broken Record, Only 5 Days Into His CNN Gig

He used to help craft the talking points for Donald Trump’s campaign. Now he just repeats them.

Over and over and over.

In an analysis of a speech Trump gave Tuesday, Corey Lewandowski, the presumptive GOP nominee’s former campaign manager (and a new CNN pundit), unsurprisingly only had positive things to say. But there was one subtle point he kept returning to in particular: Trump’s speech was the best.

Throughout the segment, Lewandowski repeated variations of that line, almost word for word, three times:

CNN turns to new commentator Corey Lewandowski, who says this was "Mr. Trump’s best speech of the presidential cycle."

A minute later: “This is a very, very strong message for him and, I think, the best speech he’s given all cycle.”

And later: "The speech was delivered clearly, articulately, and again, the best speech of the campaign so far”

Hey, unlike Trump, at least he has no trouble staying on message.

Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.
